It has a medium security level 3, and can shred optical media, credit cards, staples, paper clips, and paper. This level 3 paper shredder provides small cut size of 5/32” x 1-1/8” which is sufficient to put your identity theft worries to side. If you have some ultra-sensitive documents to discard, only then it is recommended to jump security level 4, otherwise a level 3 paper shredder will get your job done. Like the Fellowes Powershred 425i strip cut paper shredder, the 425Ci also sports a large feed opening of 12-inch, allowing you to shred larger sized papers. Moreover, the paper shredder will accept 30 sheets per pass and is designed with a continuous duty motor allowing you to shred all day long without any cool down breaks. The Powershred 425Ci has a large sized 30-gallon waste bin, which is another added benefit giving you more time between emptying the bin.
